DC++ Clients

Postby Loco on Mon Aug 20, 2007 7:39 pm

There are a number of DC++ type clients out there and most will meet the needs of the average user to some degree. However, if you want a top notch multi-sourcing client, Our networks support ApexDC client.
There may be some hubs that are unfamiliar with it yet and that don't allow it, BUT FUN and TAN network hubs all welcome apex users.
BUT... please understand, we only support the genuine Apex client. This is where you may download it: http://www.apexdc.net/
It is, in my opinion the best multi-sourcing client available to date and it is still being ACTIVELY developed and made better. :)
If this is your first client, you're lucky :)
Please read my post about setting up your share on this forum.
Also, you may find my 'setting up active mode' post helpful.
If all else fails, look me up in the hubs, I'll be happy to give personal help.

The newest Apex (version 1.2.0) is now available to the public: http://www.apexdc.net/ and it is the BEST version yet :) I can wholeheartedly recomend it to our users.

I prefer Strong 2.03. It has features not included in Apex and I have had too many problems with Apex due to the fact they will kill off a version and leave you sitting out in the cold looking for a client that will work.

It took me 2 minutes to switch everything over by simply moving the folders from one client to another and all my adl's were set in place from my previous version. So far so good.
